After receiving a massage, consider the following: 

• Refrain from consuming alcohol for at least a day since massage aids in detoxification. 

• Hydrate generously to promote toxin removal. 

• Opt for light meals to enhance the detox and healing procedures. 

• Ensure you rest adequately; it’s natural to feel drowsy post-massage. 

• Engage in mild exercise. Posture-centric workouts can alleviate muscle stiffness, and activities like yoga can improve mobility. 

• Practice deep breathing techniques to maximize oxygen intake. 

• Explore other therapeutic alternatives to address stress or other concerns if required. Post-Treatment Responses (Recovery) Sometimes, within 24-48 hours post-massage, you might observe: 

• A mild headache 

• Feelings of dizziness or queasiness 

• Changes in sleep cycles 

• Muscle fatigue or soreness 

• Frequent urination or bowel movements 

• An uptick in thirst 

• A sense of tiredness 

 

These reactions, while infrequent, are a sign that the body is expelling toxins, rebalancing, and purifying itself.
